About Me – My Story
Quibble Content was created by Anna Morrish, a creative and driven writer and marketing consultant with expertise in a wide variety of industries from technology and software, construction and manufacturing to bridal and health.
Originally from Boston in Lincolnshire, I moved to Stamford in 2015 for work and due to the ideal travel links to Peterborough and London. It’s also a beautiful area, with a plethora of independent shops and businesses, making it the ideal choice of location.
My writing journey began many moons ago. I’d always had a passion for history, art, poetry and film. I love the many forms they take. This led me to study creative writing and film studies at university and helped me land my first writing job.
I began working for one of the UKs biggest online wedding websites in 2011, writing regular blog posts for the site, liaising with local and national wedding suppliers in order to supply subscribers with monthly and annual competitions. I was later promoted to editor, whereby I managed all on-page and off-page content along with website optimisation and their social media profiles. The company in which I worked for also printed a well known local magazine that I then began writing for. As features editor, part of my job was to conduct interviews with artists, poets and influencers within the area along with celebrities , including Brendan Cole from Strictly Come Dancing.
To further my career and take on new challenges I moved into the agency world. I knew it would be a great opportunity to learn. Hired as a content marketing executive, I was soon promoted to outreach manager, where I managed a team of five, delivering content and digital PR services to a wide range of clients including automotive, real estate, interior design and many more.
My journey then took me in-house to a software company. Having gained knowledge from the agency I was able to provide my new employer with various recommendations to improve their online opportunities and leads.
Quibble Content was born.
As a creative and driven writer and marketing consultant with expertise in a wide variety of industries from technology and software, construction and manufacturing to bridal and health, I finally made the decision to set up my own business in 2016.
I feel privileged in that I am living my dream, able to share my views and creativity with the world, while providing businesses in the UK and worldwide with services that increase their ROI, while improving client relations.
With over five years’ media experience, my career has developed from print media to digital. The experience I’ve gained from in-house and agency has given me the ideal skill base to create my own business, Quibble Content. My career has provided me with in-depth knowledge of the digital sphere, along with a huge contact list of bloggers, industry professionals and journalists.
I am an ambitious individual, with a drive and passion for increasing digital revenues by inﬂuencing decision makers. I’ve found combining a highly creative mind with digital marketing skills has given me the perfect experience base.
